During my first week of being a videographer at The Optimist, my first assignment was to film the festival hosted by Abilene Christian's Graduate School.
Another project I did in Intro to Visual Media was photoshopping a product on a different background and creating an advertisement with it.
As a final project in Announcing, I had to make a demo reel of some of the best video performances from assignments done in class.
I photoshopped myself into the famous Oscar selfie for a project in JMC 201: Introduction to Visual Media
This past March I participated in the Texas Intercollegiate Press Association convention in Dallas along with my friends in The Optimist. I was the only videographer to go to the convention, and I participated in the Live Video News category.
In addition to a comprehensive final exam in Communication Design, I also had a hands-on exam to be finished in an hour and a half: a magazine spread about the band Mumford & Sons.
My second video for my school district's superintendent was about my high school's new AM radio station.
